Introduction: Bobo, is an emerging face in the field of Manipur Digital Film Industry. He is a promising and vibrant young actor, the Manipur film industry is looking forward into. He appeared in atleast 11 films so far as a supporting role including two hits "Akhunba Mani" "Da Sadananda" and still counting. But most of the role he has been given is of a positive character.
Childhood Dream: Acting his childhood passion and determined to achieve a name and fame in this profession. He finally turned his childhood dream into reality in the year 2002 in September where he joined a private institute for acting at "Paphila Foundation", paona Bazaar, Imphal and received a 6 months course of acting from the Institute much against the wishes of his family members.
According to him, with just a few months of training course in hand, he struggled a lot trying to find a way into the film Industry. Moreover the family pressured him not to join the Film Industry.
Career Beginning: After much struggle, lady luck finally smiled on him with some top name in the Manipur film industry offered him for a small role in "Drubatara", as a supporting role, where he appeared just twice or thrice. Being a determined actor, small roles did not deter him and he moved on with other similar offer. Although "Drubatara" was his first offer he made his debut on screen in the film titled "Akhunba Mani".
Today he is likely to go solo in his upcoming film and gives his credit to Romee Meitei for where he stood.
Most memorable experience so far in his career: A sequence in the Film "Khangdreda Nongdamba" "Akhunba Mani".
Comments on Manipur Film Industry: Unlike past days, one can achieve professionalism as an actor/actress in the Manipur Film industry. The industry has become firm and expanding. What the industry is lacking behind today is technology.
He loves working with all the film crew including Director, Actor, Actress and other crew but sincerity and generosity is his ideology.
Before taking his acting career seriously he was an enthusiastic sports person, a Taek-Won-Do athlete, who reached till state level category however an injury compels him to give up the sport.
