Haijang village is a remote village in Kangpokpi sub-division in Senapati district of Manipur. It is hard to reach this village in this particular time of rainy season. There is no bridge to cross over to reach the village, no good road and after all the peace loving people of this village are living at the mercy of weather.
But people of Haijang a the picturique and beautiful village is proud to have a beautiful young lady who could shine at the national level by achieving Miss Bharat 2013 held at Bhopal.
Testimony of hard work, discipline and strong determination besides the blessing of the Almighty is what sowers upon Lina Lamneilhing Chongloi. Born on March 16, 1992 to Lunkhopao Chongloi and Phallhing Chongloi at this hilly village of Haijang.
Lina who explore the career of modeling shows that career does not only mean by going to school or college. There are various scope which a person can pursue achieve
throuhg dedication and hard work. Her achievement would surely open the way for other youngsters to follow.
The simple support from the family and parents to this ambitious girl was not an easy task. The parents who are a mere cultivator never believed she would achieve such a national title in her career. Lina begin her scholling at Parizequ Maranatha Academy Kangpokpi and she is noe studying at Presidency College Motbung.
In the meantime, she did not rest to endeavour modeling and fashion which is her favourite career. She is doing a part time job at Franklin Air Hostess Academy in New Delhi. Lina Lamneilhing was crowned Miss Bharat 2013 at the beauty pagaent held at Hotel Ronak Plaza in Bhopal on June 24 this year.
Then, she won the 4th Miss India North East 2013 at ITA Manchkhowa Hall, Guwahati on July 28, 2013.
She had also achieved Miss Mystic of the East apart from the subtitle of Miss Talented and Miss Beauty skin.
The 21 year old lady who belongs to the Kuki community of Manipur is now looking forward to participate in the 'Miss Glory of Universe' whixh is going to be held at Paris in January 26 next.
