"Nungshibee Ahing" captivates Hojai's people

AFTER LENGDABA LAN and Chumthang Makhong, the third production of Diana Films, Nungshibee Ahing was screened as a special show at the Krishna Cinema at Hojai in Assam.

Story written by Chana Lukhoi, screenplay and dialogue by Narendra Ningomba, the film is directed by Homen D'wai and produced by RK Chandrabal.

Speaking on the occasion, producer of the film, RK Chandrabal affirmed that since he found a theme in the script that tries to build up a closer reltionship between the Meeteis of Manipur and Hojai, shooting of the film was started at Hojai.

Script writer Chana Lukhoi said that with the hope of saving the invaluable human quality but invisible i.e., love and affection which is surely on the decline and also to unite, with love and affection, the people of the same blood who are scattered, the script was written.

Screen play and dialogue writer Narendra Ningomba pointed out that the fact that the film is not based on commercial, it is not an ordinary film. He further pointed out that the underlying philosophy of the story is based on a conflict between modernism and traditionalism.

Diana Films expressed its gratutude and appreciation to the Meeteis of Hojai who had helped the film crew while shooting the film there. Meanwhile, Diana Films has said that its fourth production Keishamthong Thoibi will be released by November 20 .

The film company also appealed to the concerned authority to take up appropriate measures to stop piracy of its earlier two films by some unscrupulous characters.
